Apologize – OneRepublic
This is a somewhat new and popular song (so most of you may have heard it, if you have, please check back tomorrow! If you haven’t, I hope you like it).
While the song is pretty awesome, I specifically included this video (and not the official one) because it’s a really great video made by Aaron Platt. One last note: this is the pre-Timbaland version, i.e. the original OneRepublic version (without Timbaland’s beats). There is much confusion on YouTube and other sites about that. If you want to listen to the other version of Apologize (Timbaland’s version) click here.
And now, without further ado…
Like it? Dislike it? I know you are reading this! And if so please leave a comment (so I know the few page views I get aren’t from a bot)!
With anything from a “hey” to “this blog is horrible”. Or if you want you can recommend whether I should have more songs that are new, recent, popular, or old classics, or songs that most people haven’t heard of (kind of like a hidden gem). Suggestions appreciated!

In the sun – Joseph Arthur
One of my favorites.
I know there’s different versions of this song (check youtube), but I like this one the most. Enjoy.

So here’s the deal. Hands Down Gandhi is a mash-up by the Legion of Doom of Dashboard Confessional’s Hands Down + Sage Francis’s Slow Down Gandhi.
So I’ve included all three videos below!
Legion of Dooms (remix) – Hands Down Gandhi
They used to have a different version before (that I liked more), but they took it down. This one is almost the same, except the beginning which I don’t like as much.
Still it is quite simply, an amazing remix. The best I have ever heard. Check out some of their other videos, on their youtube channel
Sage Francis – Slow Down Gandhi
I couldn’t find any other video, if you find one that you like more, leave it as a comment.
Dashboard Confessional – Hands Down
Another great song + video. Here’s the acoustic version
Which one did you like the most? In the future should I embed all the videos I reference to, or should I just leave a text hyperlink to it? I am no seer, leave a comment!

How to Save a Life – The Fray
The actual song (and one version of their official video)
This was the part when it was used in Scrubs (I love that show. Especially this episode and this scene). This is when I first heard the song too. (Note: If you haven’t seen scrubs or the episode My Lunch (season 5 episode 20), I strongly advise you do before watching this. You will get more out of this, plus, it’s the greatest show ever.)
